Yum, I say. I've already placed several of these in my rotating desktop widget. Daily inspiration is A Good Thing.
Great examples of how to evoke different moods with a mix of type. Fabulous.
Horrifying. Verdana's not an ugly enough typeface for the web (yeah, yeah, I know... I use it here and there, too. What are my options?) but now we have to look at it in print? Yuk. I expected better of the Swiss.
I love House Industries. And if these weren't so pricey they'd be wrapped up under the tree for my best friend - who's obsessed with ampersands. :)
Fabulous PDF that covers how to access special characters on Mac, on PC, in HTML, and other tips on type. There are other options out there - I keep charmap on speed dial - but this is also pretty, and informative to boot.
Awesome time sucking quiz - can you identify the movie poster from a single letter of type? I got about half, but oh the time suckage. :)
Can't tell you how much I want this shirt. Love that the leading sucks, too... makes it even more wonderful. Want, want, want.
I love, love, love this poster. So bummed it's sold out. Also totally digging on the Eboy prints especially London and New York. Happily, the latter two are NOT sold out yet.
Oh, how I want this gorgeous dinnerware! First, type - fab, natch. Second, I loooove the subliminal messages: use a napkin, don't slurp, clean your plate. Awesome.
Laser-cut mats for your home in sweet sweet type. I want "little black rug" more than words can say. Seriously.
Some official, some lookalikes. Really helpful if you're trying to do tie-in promotions.
Gorgeous lineup. Burbank is just awesome, ditto Urbana. BistroScript is so retro and fabulous it makes me smile just to see it. if you like type (and hey, doesn't everyone?) head on over and check out the pretty pretty type.
A great visual example of why Helvetica isn't the best option - at least, not the best first option, anyway.
Delicious and available in 50-odd colors, these type stickers are awesome. Me wanty.
This is so cool, and so inexpensive - a true type font from your own handwriting. But of course I don't want mine - I want my friend Stacey's. It's way better than mine.
