In light of today's tweet, a good once-over for those who actually still want their information and interactions to be private. Which apparently makes us quaint, mondo adorable (do people still say mondo?) dinosaurs with no real understanding of how the intertubes work. Mmmmkay, but I'd still rather keep some things just between myself & friends, y'know? Is it really just me? Am I a dinosaur? Your thoughts welcome.
Is this really news? I've been using this as my guideline for ages. Haven't you?
It goes to show how much having stepkids in the house has changed my life: where I would have hated these before, now I want them for our fridge at home. Kthxbai!
Has the Internet killed the joys of sitting down with a good book? My favorite writer tackles brain rewiring, the value of unplugging, ADD for Internets, and more. Plus his "nipple of my id" phrase may just be tickling my mental funny bone for days, if not weeks. Meanwhile, my own stack of books (both bought and library) continue to grow...
