Youtube has 29,000 resumes. Because of course, when you think quality... you think Youtube. Sigh. :) On the bright side, this could be my excuse to finally get a Flip.

Since the real TTC site isn't likely to add this anytime soon... looky, trip planner. Sorely needed for those of us who eschew cars!
Because I keep needing to refer to it and keep losing it! A good resource if you're new to "how to do forms" more elegantly with CSS.

It goes to show how much having stepkids in the house has changed my life: where I would have hated these before, now I want them for our fridge at home. Kthxbai!
Finally, the answer to "how do I create a private diary online"? Haven't tried it yet, but a great link to keep in mind for non-tech friends and family members who don't know how to secure their own sites.
That's just so cute. LOVE that the pocket is functional to hold pens.

Not a huge fan of Pentax, but for a gold-plated camera? Hmm, I think I could be persuaded to give them a try. :) Looks like something from a Bond flick, right?

Just-a-guy does a cool thing with a corporate product, takes a photo of it, and the thing goes viral - Digg home page, the works. Then, corporation decides they want to use the image in a viral campaign of their own. Refuses to pay a $2k licensing fee to the original photographer, instead "recreates" their own for less, and then forgets about those darned Intertubes... they're so connected! Who knew they'd be found out? Classic corporate idiocy.
I think, hands down, creepiest one has to be the one that recommends Lysol as a douche. Yeah, you read that right. [shudder]

Politics aside, I think this is a really crappy thing to do as a professional photographer. It makes it clear that you, as a subject, can't trust the photographer (since you agreed to a "hero" shot and ended up looking like you're in Psycho) - in which case, why should any subject ever trust you again? It makes clear that you, as a magazine, can't trust the photographer (since she didn't make clear she'd be coming to the shoot with an agenda, potentially damaging the magazine's trustworthiness). But hey - what do I know?

Interesting overview of how both the print and online versions of the LA Times has changed over the years. Worth taking a peek at.

These are just beyond yum. Especially love the letterpress filters; the halftone is yum too, though.
