Well, I hate to say it (I hate admitting that anyone else is going to win a struggle of wills with me, to be honest) but the spammers have won, folks. I'm determined to post more here in 2007, both linkdumps as you've come to expect, as well as -gasp- real, live content.

But I can't do it and keep up with the spam.

I've got all the plugins, all the settings, everything. But it's the influx I cannot deal with. Hundreds a day, and you just know I've missed a few good comments in there as well.

So I've turned them off - for now, and very likely for good.
