how to look for an IT job in Toronto2006.03.21

I've got a good friend who's on the schniff for a management-level IT position. Unfortunately, it's been a dog's age since I went looking for a job, and I know the world is not what it was during the dot-com boom.

Now, I know the best way is to work your contacts and network like crazy, and maybe even solicit directly to companies to whom you could offer something valuable. But we like to cover all the bases, yes?

I'm trying to put together a list of online resources to try, and here's what I've come up with so far, in no particular order:

Thanks. ;) I just added Computerwork, Working, and Thingamajob to the Gada.be "Jobs" category! S/he might pass the keyword(s) through Gada.be to generate an OPML file to add to his/her aggregator.
