post fonts, beautiful fonts2003.10.22

The always stunning House Industries has completely blown me away with their new Shag collection, reminiscent of that decade when there were groovy space-age apartments, way too much orange and rust, and tacky tiki everywhere you look. Drool-icious. To boot, they've gotten clever and have spun off a few home decor items (furniture and accessories) along the same thing. If you get the chance, order a free catalog. We got one in at work last week and it was truly lovely.

Another font foundry I consistently drool over is Letterhead Fonts. Their site has such a rich, Carnivale-like design and their fonts are stunning to look at.

Other recent finds:

dinc! free fonts look great, mostly retro stuff. Their lines aren't quite as clean as the two listed above, but hey, whaddya want, these guys are generous enough to allow you to play with them for free!

Cape Arcona some free, some commercial - their commercial Dr. No is just yummy.

Pixilate has some great stuff too, also free. Their Blackout Serif is excellent. My mind has been spinning on ways to use it ever since.
