at long last complete2003.08.12

In between finally getting a new version of my work site ready to go, and continued work on my personal business site, I've been a busy girl.

I'm pretty excited about the work site. Our entire team worked really hard for more than six months, rebuilding everything from scratch, including a new interface. After three years, I've finally earned the autonomy to make the majority of interface decisions on my own, which means that a lot of what's there (the bad and the good, hopefully) was shaped or influenced by little old me. Not that it's by any means perfect, and I have a list as long as my arm of interface tweaks I want to integrate over the coming weeks, but it's a start:

In the meantime, I have so many links backlogged to share with you it's ridiculous. Most of them have probably been heavily memed by now, but I'll sort through in the next day or two and see if I can't find some that are still relevant and worthy.

I've also got a big rant coming on business blogs (when I find time to write it); maybe this weekend. And another design for the site, since I'm not completely pleased with this one. It sits, complete, in Photoshop, just waiting for me to get around to it.

I love this web building biz, but gosh, it takes a lot out of ya sometimes!
