Kurzweil on the accelerating rate of change: “Today there's an axiom that the only constant is change. But what people don't recognize is that the world itself has changed because the greater change is accelerating. So our whole concept of what it means to be human is going to be changing, and it is going to be merging with our technology. ”
There are days when I agree with him, and days when I'm convinced he just secretly wants to be a Borg. :)
This site is currently trading for a pitiful $0.31 a share on Blogshares. I have no idea what that means, exactly, since I have tried most diligently to be unaware of how the stock market works, much less a fantasy game. But still. Seems cool.

Master of Magic was a very fun turn-based strategy game I played for hours and hours on end in 1994. God, I miss those days—and that game—because in those days game developers actually created games with good gameplay as opposed to the whiz-bang graphics without any real meat behind it. At any rate, more cool MOM sites here, here, and a fabulous review from 1994 here.
Wireless Bandit: “This blog is here to document the wardriving and warwalking the streets of Toronto to find open/unsecure WLAN access points.” Given that I was just bemoaning the fact that I didn't know much about WiFi access in Toronto, this is so cool.
How did I miss this? Drives me crazy when there are these great sites that I've completely missed.
