Hopelessly in love

I'm hopelessly in love. My heart now belongs to Movable Type. By far, the easiest system I've ever installed on a web server, with a beautiful interface, wonderful support forums, and groovy little gadgets like my own RSS feed in two flavours: RSS 0.91 and RSS 1.0. How yummy. Now I can add my own site to Feedreader just for vanity's sake.
Not that Ev hasn't done a good job. I'm just a control freak about these things. And honestly, the interface to MT sold me. Pretty, pretty, pretty.
Been perusing Mark's Dive Into Accessibility site lately, some good stuff here. No guarantees how many of his tips I've followed here, though... yet, anyway.
I've also been checking out Joel's CityDesk for a couple of sites I'm doing on the side for non-techie people, looks like a niec product. I'd be happier if it didn't rewrite lowercase, properly quoted tags to the uppercase, non-quoted versions so popular circa 1997, but what do you expect? Programmers don't write HTML code all that often... Hopefully that will get fixed in a future release. Frankly I'm just thrilled to find a WYSIWYG that doesn't totally screw up my templates.
Very pretty furniture design. Odd how I love looking at modern design but choose richer and more traditional design for my own home.
