Have I mentioned this week2002.05.21
Have I mentioned this week how much I love Boxes and Arrows? Tremendous resource for the UX/IA professional. If you haven't been there yet, go. I've been following Meg's “Moving From Flatland to Hyperspace” (part 1, part 2). While I didn't start from a print background, her insights are excellent. I work with a number of print designers on a daily basis, helping them to understand the transition from print to web (since I can't convince them to buy Zeldman's book). They could definitely benefit from reading this. It may just show up in their inboxes, unannounced. :)
Also on the UX front, another great resource in the form of Lyle's blog. As well, xBlog recently added a Personas category of links. If you're eyeballs deep in usability thinking for your company, it's a big help. Nathan also has a great list of UX links from Interaction and Interface Design to Information Design.
More silly corporate shenanigans. I'm almost numb to it by now.
FacetMap: a new way to help you organize your information based on metadata. Yum. (sidenote: I haven't seen a site on port 8080 in a loooong time. Ah, the good old days. :)
Finally, another super color template creator to add to my ever-growing list. Good job.
