Some days you want to forget all about being a card-carrying, bill-paying adult and just run out and play. I spent my lunch hour today detoxing from work and looking for toys to grace my desk. Hello to the memories.

First stop, Rubik's Cube. I stopped by the official site which had some great stuff including DIY kits (have you ever wanted a "Prismatic" cube? I do! I do!) and some history for those of us who just have to know.

Next stop, Etch-a-Sketch (be honest, how badly would you love one of these for your desk?). Found an online Shockwave version that's fun, if tough, to play with. The official site had an online gallery full of really great sketches.

On to Lite Brite. Oh, how I want this for my desk. How awesome would that be! I love this idea so much I'm tempted to run out tomorrow night and pick one up. Found another online version, this one only requires JavaScript. Fun! :) I even ran across a Lite Brite t-shirt. How cute. I want one.

Remember Sea Monkeys?

Finally, a little virtual trip through the past. Chock full of fun memories.

Now that's the way to unwind. I went back to work feeling much more relaxed!
