Along the same lines as the Doubletree Hotel Fun Fiesta, someone sent me this horrifying protection-of-trademark bit from EBay. This is where the domain name system will break down. When simple words are in effect removed from every single domain name because of trademark issues. What's next, removing the words from the lexicon altogether? Shall Oxford dictionary pay royalties to EBay for listing the word "half" or risk a lawsuit?
If you hate pop-up/pop-under ads (and who, in their right mind, doesn't?) here's a way to get rid of 'em. Lovely tool. Shame we can't just drop all advertisers on their heads instead.
I know so many people who would love this vest. The ultimate apparel for those of us who cannot live without our technology bits, day in and day out.
Microsoft, doing bad things again. What else is new. And yet I still use their products. And still (to some degree) respect Mr. Bill. Know why? Despite all the crappy things they've pulled, people still love 'em. People still user their products. Now that's what I call spin. And monopolizing. Whatever.
Finally, why an understanding of typography (and maybe, while we're at it, some eyeballs? is so necessary when running a business. Heh.
